A/N: Lots of meta in here, but I tried to not make it too hard to follow. And… it needs it. *shrug* The reference to “Wally Kestler” is from a popular Mormon musical, “Saturday’s Warrior” in which a girl swears to be true and “wait” for him to come home on his mission so they can marry. They’re weirdoes. Oh, Mormons go on missions at 19, generally, give or take a few months to a year-ish after that, but not earlier. I'll shut up now.

This is AUSTIN YOUNG and this is BRANDON CHRISTENSEN. I have taken MASSIVE liberties with the dudes on the Mormons Exposed Calendar, including making up last names for them, their family life, etc. Everything here is from my own head; anything resembling real people is purely coincidental.

[ETA: Sat. night]

• We may not be getting new info out of Russia due to a bill that may be passed by Putin where discussion of extremist activities warrants the same punishment as the extreme activity. (Wow. Remember, we're dealing with the Russian gov't on this one.)
• Also, we may not be hearing anything more from the authorities, because they secretly agree with the Neo-Nazis (read the right sidebar.)
• I think that we'll see something soon from the SOVA Center, which tracks racism/hate crimes (as well as other functions) and keeps the world abreast of these issues. Their Website.
• This blog collects news from other Russians'/Ukranians' blogs. The bar at the right is routinely updated. Note how many of the news sources from the people come from LJ posts.

[ETA Sun. AM]:

• On Kommersant.com The poster is named, and his username is also identified. He apparently has multiple journals. I have reported the post to Abuse. WARNING: the beheading video is on the user's journal. Click at your own risk.
• The BBC has reported that authorities in "foreign countries" have been notified about the material on their servers. This could mean Europe, South Africa or San Franscico for 6A servers.

In bullet point, because we all are pressed for time.

• Finally caught up on Flight of the Conchords, maybe one of the best comedy programs in a very long time. Oh, Kiwis. How I love you. Except for dovil because she stopped sending me hobbits for target practice. After all the booze I plied you with? Bastard. (The subject heading is from this song, which I cannot get out of my head. This is a good thing.)
• It never ceases to amaze me at how people a) have no sense of humor/lacking in funny-dar and b) are quick to point out when you (me) are wrong, and are wrong themselves. I like that last one, especially.
• I have new people that added me to their reading lists, hello! Come and go as you please. I never mind when people add me, nor remove me. We're very relaxed here. By which I mean me.
• I happen to like insects. I don't want them on my body. Or eating my face.
• I am very sarcastic and silly here, with the occassional fic post. If you're not good with humor, you... you will be unhappy here.
• I got my official rehearsal/shooting schedule for my movie, Blood on the Highway, and I have to let my hair and skin... go. Not off my body, nothing like that, just... I'm a cross between Karen Black and Magda. \o/ I cannot wait to be hideous and see how the other 99% lives. AHAHAHAHA. I kid.
• Nicholas Brendon officially signed last night (the last of the paperwork) and once I find out his shooting schedule, there will be casual walking by done by me. With a camera. And a harpoon. And a trunkful of pickling lime and heavy cabling. I KID. (Or do I??)
• Dude, I'm going to be in a Tromo horror film!! It still hasn't sunk in. I love me some crack, y'all.
• I am STARVING and need some lunch. Sushi is sounding good. Or beef fajita nachos. Suggestions?
• Finally: lemon-flavored Italian soda and vodka is about as tasty as it gets for summertime boozing. Archer Farms brand is quite tasty, and they have a bloood orange flavor I'll be experimenting with come "happy hour." (Oooh, add a splash of triple sec for extra num.)

Finally: MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS to entrenous88 and TNMN (the NOW Mr. Nous) on their marriage today! They are a spectacular couple, who've I've had the very great pleasure of befriending for a few years. Mazoltov!

By me, so as to not cause confusion. I figured that I could take my most offensive/obscene offering on LJ and by using LJ's vague and ever changing ToS (and a little help from Mr. Mackey) I could clean it up! *enormous grin* For those who don't know what Lubed: The Musical is, it's based on Grease and involves Wee!Spike, my satirization of really bad Spike/Angel fic where Spike is ladyfied and always crawling in Angel's lap. o_0

Muuuuuuch better now, right? All cleaned up and tidy and unoffensive and PC. Yay! If you need to do this to your fics/artwork, perhaps this icon will help you remember the rules? (credit is lovely, but not necessary. hahaha.) I'm COMPLETELY SURPRISED that no one brought up South Park to the LJ execs. That's on basic cable, and syndicated even!
